Every time I walk into a room in this house, I think, "she really is a genius!". The she being you! The paint colors are amazing! The painter keeps saying you nailed it in every room.
We absolutely love it! I can't wait until we unpack all boxes and do our best at decorating. I want to send you some before/after photos for you to use and just laugh at! The best room (in our opinion) is the family room/den. That dark brown (Mink, I think) on the beams and inside the built ins is amazing. The room looks so warm and cozy. I have other favorites, too. The neutral with a touch of green in the master bedroom makes me so happy...And how on earth you managed to find a paint color that brightens up this wacky kitchen tile and cabinets I'll never know. You really did find a color that brightened the kitchen, and will be so easy to work with in terms of curtains/decorating. Emily loves her Pear Green, it certainly is bright without being too obnoxious. I love David's blue, too. What a great color!
OH - so many people (us included) keep complimenting the living room walls. That darker color taupe is gorgeous! I can't wait to send photos!
I couldn't be more thrilled! Pictures to come in about two weeks (when we find enough "stuff" from boxes to make it look nice!). Hope your family had a great holiday!

We used Rebecca Dumas' design services to choose a color scheme for our home and can't be more pleased. We wanted to use slightly different colors for each room but were concerned that it would be too much. Rebecca recommended colors for each room that flowed well from room to room. We are finished with about 75% of the house and the colors look fantastic. I would highly recommend using Rebecca's services. Also, we used Benjamin Moore Regal paint; it covers well and is extremely easy to paint with.
